Systemic Counseling for Individuals, Couples & Families

Online and in-Person in Dubai

I’m glad you’re here.

I support individuals and couples through personal, family-related and professional challenges – online and, by individual arrangement, in-person in Dubai.

Especially important: Online sessions allow you to access support wherever you are and easily integrate appointments into your everyday life – including during medical treatment, while travelling or during particularly challenging phases of life.

What is Systemic Approach

The systemic approach looks at people within the context of their relationships and wider social environment. Rather than focusing solely on the individual, it considers the interactions, patterns and dynamics within families, partnerships and other important relationships.

I see you as a whole person – together with everything that shapes your life. My approach is resource-oriented and focused on finding new perspectives and practical ways forward.

At the heart of systemic work is the belief that people already possess many of the resources and abilities they need to navigate difficult situations. My role is to help you access these resources, develop new perspectives and find solutions that feel right for you.

My work is rooted in the principle of constructivism – the understanding that each of us experiences and interprets reality in our own individual way. Together, we explore thought patterns, behaviours and beliefs that may no longer serve you and look at what could change.

I ask questions that encourage reflection, challenge familiar ways of thinking and, at the same time, provide orientation and support.

As a self-employed professional, wife and mother of two, I also experience many of the challenges that come with everyday life. These experiences have taught me the importance of self-compassion, acceptance and allowing ourselves to make mistakes. This is the same attitude I bring to my work with the people I accompany.

My Approach

What matters to me in my work

Trust, appreciation and mutual respect are the foundation of my work.

I take a holistic, resource- and solution-oriented approach and look at your concerns within the context of your individual life situation. Empathy and appreciation are particularly important to me, as is the systemic principle of considering different perspectives without judgment or preconceived solutions.

When working with families, I take an attachment-oriented approach and keep the needs of all members of the family system in view.
Together, we explore what is behind your current challenges and develop individual ways forward.

Your first session

In our initial conversation, which lasts approximately 30 minutes, we get to know each other and talk about what brings you here, your expectations, the framework of our work and my approach.

The initial conversation is free of charge and non-binding.
My sessions are generally held online via video. This allows you to work with me independently of your location and gives you greater flexibility – particularly during demanding periods of life or alongside medical treatment.
For clients based in Dubai, in-person sessions are also available by individual arrangement.

About Me

Why I Chose the Systemic Approach

People have always been at the heart of what I do.
Through my studies in Business Administration, with a focus on Human Resources Management and Psychology, I was able to turn my passion for working with people into my profession.
After 14 years in Human Resources across different companies and industries, and after encountering a wide range of personal and professional challenges in my work, I increasingly felt the desire to support people on a deeper level and accompany them through their individual challenges.
This led me to take a new professional path and establish my own practice as a Systemic Practitioner.
Today, I can focus entirely on the individual person and their needs – supporting them with empathy and appreciation as they develop new perspectives, discover their own resources and find solutions that work for them.
I create a space in which personal challenges can be explored openly, understood from different perspectives and approached in a way that allows you to find your own path forward.
I bring my whole personality into my work. I have always been particularly interested in topics such as Inner Child Work, the transgenerational transmission of trauma and limiting beliefs, and the dynamics within family systems.
Helping people navigate difficult situations and supporting them in creating a fulfilling life is – after my family – one of the most meaningful things I can imagine doing.

More about myself

Travel is one of my greatest passions. I love discovering new places, meeting people and experiencing different cultures.
My family and friends, sport, and my passion for healthy and delicious food are important sources of energy and balance in my life.
Finding a healthy balance between external expectations and my own aspirations for quality of life has repeatedly reminded me how important mindfulness, health and vitality are for living a fulfilling, happy and self-determined life.
As a self-employed professional, wife and mother of two, I experience many of the challenges of everyday life myself. They have taught me the importance of self-compassion, acceptance and giving ourselves permission not to be perfect.
This is also the attitude I bring to the people I have the privilege of accompanying.

My Values

Trust

Trust is the foundation of my work and the key to an open and honest relationship.
Honesty, reliability, loyalty and authenticity create the basis for a relationship in which you can feel safe enough to be open and explore what truly matters to you.

Health

Living a healthy life begins with being connected to yourself and being able to recognise and respond to your own needs.
For me, this includes healthy nutrition, questioning established habits and finding sustainable alternatives that support your wellbeing in the long term – sometimes beyond the conventions and expectations that surround us.

Mindfulness

Mindfulness helps us become more aware of how we relate to ourselves and to the people around us.
It allows us to develop a more compassionate and appreciative relationship with ourselves and others.

Love

“Love your neighbour as yourself” begins with an honest and compassionate relationship with yourself.
For me, love is unconditional. It means being present, appreciating the moment and finding joy in the small things in life.
